When was Isuzu established?
Tokyo Ishikawajima Shipbuilding and Engineering Co., Ltd. and Tokyo Gas and Electric Industrial Co. initiated plans to build automobiles in 1916. Tokyo Automobile Industries Co., Ltd., the predecessor of ISUZU MOTORS LIMITED, was established in 1937 with capital of one million yen.
