Various changes are made every day through collaboration with other companies

Please tell me your job duties.

I am currently seconded to CJPT Co., Ltd., where I am the leader of a group that is collaborating with Toyota Motor Corporation to demonstrate fuel cell trucks and to develop plans for a future electrified society. CJPT (Commercial Japan Partnership Technologies) is a joint venture established by several domestic automakers, including Isuzu, Toyota Motor Corporation, and Hino Motors, and aims to popularize the CASE society through collaboration with other companies.

When do you feel a sense of accomplishment or fulfillment in your work? What is interesting about your current job?

At CJPT, I find it rewarding and interesting that we are working towards the same goal while incorporating ideas from other companies that Isuzu does not have.

What do you value most when leading a team?

When leading a team, I always try to understand the other person's feelings. Rather than thinking, "If it were me, I would do it this way," I always try to understand what the other person is expecting and put myself in their shoes.

Please tell us how you feel Isuzu has changed recently, and what you yourself are trying to change.

Before the departmental town hall meetings, I didn't have many opportunities to interact with people from other departments unless it was through work, so I felt that Isuzu was changing when the town hall meetings began.

Tell us your "I Do" statement*.

My "I Do declaration is to "read one book every month." This is because I want to incorporate new ideas and values that I haven't had before.

What actions will you take to achieve the four ISUZU ID No. 1s?

In order to achieve our goal of having the "No. 1 impact on society," we will respect the opinions of both our business partners and Isuzu, and act as a lubricant between us.

Regarding ISUZZ ID's core value of "Mutual Respect," how is it currently contributing to this?

Our department's job is to turn 0 into 1 by collaborating with other companies to create new things that Isuzu does not have. Because we work with companies that have different ways of thinking and values, we naturally clash at times, but I think that is precisely why it is important to respect each other.

What kind of person would you recommend Isuzu to?

At Isuzu, we collaborate with other companies and are constantly making changes. If you want to try new things, come to Isuzu.
