What made you want to work at Isuzu? What motivated you to apply?

When I lived abroad as a child, I saw how Isuzu vehicles supported people's lives in various countries. These experiences gradually strengthened my desire to work for a commercial vehicle manufacturer, and I applied to join Isuzu Motors, the industry leader.

What do you like about Isuzu? What are its charms?

What's attractive about Isuzu is that it gives opportunities to employees regardless of age and has an environment where each individual can achieve results, so you can be active from a young age. Also, with bases all over the world, Isuzu has many opportunities for business trips and overseas postings, and I wanted to work in a position that involved overseas, so I found this aspect attractive as well. Since joining the company, I have received thorough training in a variety of areas, including automobiles, trade, and finance, and the environment is also in place where I can learn the knowledge necessary for my job.

When do you feel a sense of accomplishment or fulfillment in your work? What is interesting about your current job?

My current work gives me the opportunity to interact with various departments in Thailand, South Africa, and Japan, which is very stimulating. I felt a great sense of accomplishment when the local and Japanese sides worked together toward a common goal and were able to actually launch a project. I think the fact that there are no barriers between affiliated companies and departments is a great advantage of working at Isuzu.

Tell us your "I Do" statement*.

My "I Do declaration is "To embrace diversity and value the opinions of those around me." I believe that valuing the opinions of various people increases the number of options available and leads to the best possible outcome.

What actions will you take to achieve the four ISUZU ID No. 1s?

In order to achieve "No. 1 customer satisfaction," we listen to the needs of customers in each region and tackle each issue from the customer's perspective!

Regarding ISUZZ ID's core value of "Drive to Challenge," how is it currently contributing to this?

I believe that each employee having Drive to Challenge is important because it will lead to solving all kinds of social issues as a company. I want to expand my possibilities as much as possible by continuing to take on challenges and use that to grow myself. In the future, in order to thoroughly understand the situation on the ground, I intend to see the sites with my own eyes, listen directly to the voices of the people working there, and work together with them to solve problems.

Please tell us how you feel Isuzu has changed recently, and what you yourself are trying to change.

I feel that through Viva Engage (an internal social networking site), I have had more opportunities to meet people from various departments within the company. In order to broaden my horizons, I am conscious of actively communicating with a variety of people.

What kind of person would you recommend Isuzu to?

If you have Drive to Challenge and are always ready to try new things, then come to Isuzu!
